safety

We should all read this story and view it as an opportunity to teach us to take safety seriously.

After reading this article and dwelling over the horribleness of it over night... I made a dozen calls and found out where to get a fire safety blanket, not alot of people carry these.  For the low cost of $74.05 at www.Grainger.com I was able to buy a HUGE piece of mind. There will always be a FIRE BLANKET on our pit cart and I pray we NEVER USE IT...but if need be we will be ready.

Each and every Racer, Emergency Crew Helper, Pit Crew, Flagger, Photographer, Cook and anyone else who at anytime could have such a Terrible Situation happen with Fire... Please, please, please take the time to grab one so that if anything horrible ever was to happen like that which did at I-44.. We can tell a much better story of how we were prepared...

The last time such an emergency happened.. I was proud of Deming Speedway for the quick response that really made a HUGE difference, Brad Davidson was able to walk away with just a little mark...

:D  Starla  ---- See ya at the Track... :D
