I'm coming up from CAL. to race at Deming this season. I wanted to know about the wings? Is there a size or shape rule? Can you have 2 piece wings, because I've seen some 2 piece wings and I just want to know what flies at Deming in the line of wings.
Our rules change meeting for the 2009 season will be held next Saturday, December 13th. Untill then, you can find the current club rules in a dowloadable adobe format on the deming home page. Will keep you posted if there are any changes associated with the wing-size.
The current 600 wing rules are stated as follows:
Center section shall not exceed 14sq. ft. Right side maximum 48" X 18" Left side maximum 48" X 24".
The current 1200 wing rules:
Top wings maximum 16 sq ft. center section with right panel maximum 30" X 24" X 54" and left side maximum 30" X 54"
