Dustin O'Brien: Was running the Pace Chassis house car, first night timed in really well, actually broke track record, which was then broken by 2 other drivers. Ran well in heat, and mechanical woes prevented him from taking green flag during main. Saturday night, ran 2nd in his heat, and made the main on points. Had made his way to 2nd, but fell back to 5th, when his knee popped out of socket.

Kelly Mauck: Friday, despite being ultra fast and smooth on a rough track, had some mechanical issue prevent him from putting a time in that was worthy. He made some repairs and worked his way through the B to make the A Main. Worked his way up to 17th, despite being in a caution (no where to go) and losing his watts link. Saturday, he ran 3rd in his heat, but did not acquire enough points to guarantee a spot in the A-Main, so he had to work his way through the B again. Which was a piece of cake, as he finished 2nd. During Saturday's A Main, Kelly ran a good race, but got lapped and ended up in the teens somewhere.

JR Thomas: Friday timed in near the middle of the field, however he won his heat. Started 4th in the A-Main, and held it for many laps, however steering woes forced him to go high and lose position. Saturday, he wheel hopped another car, and finished last in the heat, but still acquired enough to guarantee a spot in the A-Main. During the A-Main, JR was a victim of circumstance on the first caution. On lap 18 a red came out for Michael Faccinto (spelling, the kid who won clay cup) flipping in turn 1, and JR had no where to go, some light damage. But he finished the race, a lap down I think just ahead of Kelly.

All three of them are still in Cali, and the promoter of Lemoore gave them a chance at testing at the facility on Sunday night, so all three of them got a chance to run some laps on a really cool racetrack. When I left, Dustin hadn't decided on a ride or not for Lemoore. So that may change. Kelly and JR both tuned up their cars, and will probably keep tuning on them until they drive to the track. They're stoked to run there.

Heard names of people coming down, Lemley, Ryan, some others. Its too bad I had to get home.

Thanks for the update....... Plaza's website wasn't what I'd call user friendly and no summaries or posts on MYlaps. So no updates..
