We have had good turnouts @ our meetings so far this season. Lets keep it up! Feel free to e-mail me with your ideas, concerns and coments about our club and its direction for the coming year.
so the 250s have to get a "quiet muffler"? if so do you know how much it would cost to buy one and do i just go ask for the "quiet muffler" at speedmart?
If your pipe has an aluminum silencer (the last 16" or so of pipe) you have a "quiet" pipe. 90% of the pipes in the area should already be quiet pipes, as they were the only ones that met the former 90db requirement, without a supplemental muffler.
Additionally, I strongly recommend the ESR silencer packing. This is where the sound really changes. We noticed a big difference between moto-cross fiber-fill type packing and the stock ESR fabric packing. The ESR packing takes more of the "ping" out of the exhaust note than some of the looser packing materials.
