I WAS TOLD THAT THE REG RACES WITH THE WING'S WILL HAVE POINTS LIKE NORMAL, BUT THE QUESTION IS WILL THE NON WING RACES HAVE SEPERATE POINTS FROM THE OTHER, OR WILL THE NON WING POINTS BE ADDED TO THE ONES WITH THE WING....THANKS
Wingless races will have their own "series" points, and also count as normal points races in the weekly points. So when its all done, you'll have a wingless series champion, and an overall champion.
i wish it was reg points for the wing's and then points for the non wing's, then a overall champ..so you would have a wing champ..non wing champ...overall combined..so if someone wants to take a week or two off it does not effect the reg points...just a thought
There are many who would probably support your position (myself included). Many people i've talked to who got out of Micros complained that a 24 week non-stop seaon just burned them out.
However, I also believe that car count would take a hit.
If for example, we had 12 races of each, with 2 division champs and an overall, I'd just run the non-wingers and leave the pop can roof at home. On the other hand, We've been pushing against strong resistance to wingless shows for years, I'd bet many would do just the opposite and run the winged only. Neither is what Paul wants/needs to see for his pit area.
