Blake and I wanted to take a few minutes and say thank you to a real quality person, at the begining of the season Doug James was kind enough to offer Blake his car to drive for the 08 season the season got off to a great start with Blake picking up the feature win in the 2nd night out in the car dedicating the win to Blake's 9yr old cousin fighting cancer and also to papa brownie, the following weekend was not as good with Blake destroying a 600 chassis like ive never seen before. per our agreement with Doug was we would pay for what we broke, the day after the race Doug was on the phone looking for another chassis for Blake to drive getting us one here in 4 days unreal. bottom line to the story Blake has been working with me at the dealership this year trying to help keep things rolling in a really tough time in the retail world. Doug actually stepped up at one time and said dont worry about wrecking I will get it back out on the track for Blake to drive. whats the point of what I am saying,,, great people are sometimes very hard to find and be able to race for and Doug James is one of those people who stick to there word and Blake and I wanted to personally thank Doug James and jamesbrown racing for stepping up for Blake and maybe in the future we will get the opportunity to team again. Doug is a class act. He has helped us with both our mini sprint and our quarter midget. There aren't enough kind words to describe Doug , Gerald and everyone else on their team.
