XXX 600 Shows Strong Late Season

The Triple X Race Co 600 mini sprint continues to show well as the North American season winds to a close. Race wins in Pennsylvania, Texas, Minnesota and Missouri highlight the September successes of the XXX 600.

 

In Pennsylvania, Brock Zearfoss took home his second race win of the season at Lindas Speedway in Jonestown. In his Spar powered, Mooses LZ sponsored #3z XXX, Zearfoss took control of the race by the exit of the first corner then remained safely in front of the field for the remainder of the feature to score the victory. The following night at Path Valley Speedway, Zearfoss came from 18^th to finish 8^th in the main event on an extremely dry-slick track. Congratulations Brock, Kevin and the rest of the Zearfoss team!

 

RPM Speedway of Texas hosted Mini Sprint action on the 4^th of September, and when the dust cleared, it was DJ Estes picking up his first win in his XXX 600. On a track that he usually doesnt run, Estes adapted quickly to the track conditions en route to victory lane in the Lonestar state.

 

Dan Henning also scored his victory of the 2009 campaign, toppling the Miniakota Microsprint tour at Nobles County Speedway in Worthington, MN. Henning was strong all night, repeatedly pulling away from the second and third place cars on restarts.

 

Quinton Benson hit paydirt for the first time in 09, taking down the A-Class competition at Sweet Spring Motorsports Complex in Missouri. Benson, driving the XXX 600 that Brady Bacon took to the pole position at the 2009 Tulsa Shoot Out, was the class of the A-Class this night, overcoming his season long bad luck gremlin to score his first win.
