California Night Two

Night Two at the Super 600 Nationals was pretty damn good for the Washington State contigent but could have been a whole lot better with 2 more pounds.

All 5 Washington State cars made the A-main feature race and Colton Heath went wire to wire winning the main easily but about 30 caution laps ran him low on fuel.. 2 lbs low and he came in under weight and was disqualified.

JR the Juiceman Thomas transferred into the A after finishing 3rd in the B-main.  JR finished 18th in the main after starting 21st.

Bam Bam Cam Smith started his heat race in 8th and finished in 5th which put him on the pole in the #2 B-Main where he finished 2nd.  Bam Bam wrecked out in the A-main after hitting a familiar car and traveling buddy JR Thomas.  Not sure who was exactly at fault here but I can guarantee you I am going to have to listen to both of them give me there version for the next 2 days.

Shawn "The Highliner" Holtorf is earning a new name here at the Plaza Park as he has not been running the high line but has been finding some success running the bottom.  Shawn "The bottom feeder" holtorf made another A-main after passing 2 or 3 cars in his heat and finishing 2nd.  Holtorf finished up the A-main a car or two in front of JR.

Trey Starks finished the A-main in 10th and is the only Deming Car guaranteed a spot in the A main show tomorrow night.  All other drivers will be racing there way through the B-mains but all have very good starting positions!
