I think if the flaggers are gonna black flag one person for racing hard, they need to give the same punishment to others no matter where they came from. we were black flagged with no questions and the cali cars were drivin over people left and right and they even gave them warnings. maybe we shouldnt be so worried about them coming back and call a fair race!!
it happened again tonight!! Kelly Mauck was run over by one of the Turner boys and nothing was done. can't wait to see someone take him out!! remember, its just racin.
I'd find it REAL hard to believe that Eric would "Run over" someone, ESPECIALLY when driving someone elses car. He's running that car as a favor to Wood, and Randy asked him to drive it becuase he knows with Eric, it would still look like a race car at the end of the weekend. There were plenty of other drivers to choose from- Randy picked a guy who had never sat in a 600 before. Those who have raced against us for the past 10 years at Deming know DAMN well that Eric keeps his nerfs cleaner than anyone. Ask around, there are guys who have ran hundreds of laps with him, and I'd bet they'll all say the same. That's how Dad raised us- if we got into someone like that (didn't have to be intentional, just a bad decision) we would spend a week off thinking about it. Rule #1 if we didn't respect the equipment, we didn't go to the track.
He'll give you room, but expects the same. If he's wheel to wheel with you- he's going to put that car in clean, and stick it, and doesn't expect to have to jam the brakes so you can cut across his nose.
Sorry you guys appear to have been victim of a rare black flag moment Thursday night, but don't go around slandering other drivers for incidents you had NO involvement in to try to justify your mistake.
Agreed with the Turner statement ,as owner of the 1w 600 , do you know how many times my car got wadded up at the faults of other drivers ,that is part of racing !!!!Time to move on and get over it and for racer dude 77 grow up and read the rules for posting on this site, oh bye the way --if the race incident from last night was the 1w Turner car was infact his fault do you think the black flag would have been thrown ,it certainly has been flying this weekend so far

Brandon Turner
To slander other drivers for "incidents you had NO involvement in to try to justify your mistake" So let me get this straight. Your lecturing someone for getting involved in something that they weren't involved in (when they were crewing for him) and you are also getting involved in something you were not even present to witness???? Your assuming I made a mistake and your brother was just involved in an incident? I hadn't even said anything on here.. I have never been anywhere where the black flag is used so much in the wrong or misinterpreted. it should be used WHEN YOU KNOW YOU SAW something deliberate not when you THOUGHT YOU SAW something deliberate. your own rule book states
4. A furled black flag will be given as a warning against intentional fouling, nerfing, spinning or crowding. It may result in a car being set back in finishing position, disqualification, or fine for repeated infractions.
you seriously think the 8 times that black flag was waved or pointed it was intentional seriously?
