Travel Tips for those driving I-5 to Deming...

Words of the wise....as I learned the hard way after almost not making it to the track on Friday night for the races.  When you are towing a trailer the following rules apply:

-Regardless of trailer size and weight, anything in combination is bound by the "TRUCKS" speed limit of 60 MPH

-When there are 3 or more lanes, you CANNOT travel in the left lane, even to pass

-Any trailer with a gross weight over 3,000lbs must have an operational safety brake for a break-away situation.

Just thought i would share...as I wasn't aware of the left lane law, or that the trucks speed limit also applies to all of us towing smaller trailers.  Been traveling north to Deming for 25+ years and never had a problem.
