Is anyone ready to race?????? Salem Indoor Winter series has indoor racing on a larger track (1/6th to 1/5th mile, claimed straightaway lenght of 300'!!!!!) scheduled for sat. 1/28/06 and sat. 2/4/06!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will be a practice session the preceding friday night (1/27 & 2/3) Friday night practice will be from 4pm till 9pm, gates will open on sat. @ 2pm. classes to include, 250, 600 restricter, 600 stock, Dwarf cars, and FULL SIZE MIDGETS!!!!!! I was told the 1200 class could run as well if there were enough cars, I have a call in to verify this. LET"S GET'EM READY AND SHOW'EM WHAT WE GOT UP HERE @ DEMING!!!!!!!!!!!! devin and i went up to race the "bull ring" a couple weeks ago. while we where there i talked to one of the promoters. he showed me the building and described the track lay out. this building is huge, he could easily build a track the size of deming inside. there is a motocross track set up now. the dirt is good not horse **** and sawdust. if this works out for him he may get more dates next winter. we plan to race the 250. there will be rv parking on the fair grounds, oh ya, leave your wings at home.. joe
Mhm the season is coming up quickly, i would like it to be starting sooner but i dont have to worry about getting a car ready. 78 Days till racing season starts!!!
