After an impact with the turn 1 wall in a USAC sprint car at Evergreen Speedway on Friday night, local racing veteran (and past deming speedway competitor) Rory Price passed on. Rory's father Dard raced for several years at Deming, and Rory filled in for the driving duties from time to time. He was also a decorated WMRA driver. Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Rory. Perhaps the season opener could include a memorial.
For anyone who wants to attend Rory Price's Memorial Service it will be held Sunday April 9th @ 2PM at St. Andrews Luthern Church 2650 - 148th Ave SE Bellevue, WA.
