castle rock set up


           Is it true the 250s can race at castle rock this weekend?


  If so where do i even start on set up???????


what is the track like?

I'd make the trip, but will be out of town this weekend. 


For setup, you probably don't need to do much.  We took 250's to a 3/8 mile with our Deming setup and weren't far off for a baseline.  Probably can use less wing angle, you don't need the downforce as much as you need the side panels on bigger tracks.

   the track is a bunch faster than deming, straight aways are as long as skagit but the corners are tighter and a lot flatter, we run a tighter car on the 600 from our deming setup and a lot more gear. for my 250 i would start with a 14x47 and run 4th and 5th gear.  joe

 I just got off the phone with the president of the Pacific Mini-sprint club and he said that if four or more 250's show up he will run an exibition type race with no payout. But if all goes well he wants to schedule them to race next season
